MFA Requirements
Why we made a change
Security is always a priority at Chain.io. With that in mind, we’ve been looking at ways to increase the security of your account within the Chain.io application. Over the past several years, app based multi-factor security has become more widely accepted, so we’ve decided to make it standard for all users in the application.
What’s changed
The option to turn on MFA has been removed from the portal and all users will be required to set up MFA once they log out and log back in after the update.
Integration Library Templates
Why we made a change
When you’re deploying multiple integration, many of the activities like testing, sign-off, or capturing supporting contacts are repetitive and should be captured consistently. With this in mind, we recognized that being able to create your own templates to automatically create tasks, flows, and memos would be really useful when you’re managing a large integration portfolio.
What’s changed
Integration templates allow you to create a template that can be applied to multiple integrations across your workspace. We’ve included a handful of starter templates, and you can create your own by visiting the Templates section in Workspace Settings.
Integrations Library Notifications
Why we made a change
In our mission to make the Integrations Library more user friendly we think it helps to engage our users and get them to interact with the product and each other when action is needed during their process. Starting with this release, we will send an email, as well as a notification within the portal to the user associated with a task assigned to them in the Integrations Library.
What’s changed
Notifications were only found if the user navigated to the Integrations Library section of the portal.
Quality of Life Improvements
In addition to the major changes listed above, we’ve implemented several smaller quality of life improvements across the app.
