Sending To SFTP Servers

Created by Brian Glick, Modified on Tue, 4 Nov at 11:39 AM by Brian Glick

Chain.io supports sending data to both our Chain.io hosted and remote SFTP servers.  You can configure sending to SFTP as either a workspace level host system or an integration level connection.

If you are configuring a reusable connection to send to an internal SFTP server for data you are receiving from third parties, then configure a Host System.  If you are configuring a third party's external SFTP to send data to, then you should configure a Connection.

Host System (Workspace Level)
Within the new host system dialog, choose Remote FTP Server and enter the server and credentials.  You'll then be able to setup the file path and download parameters within each flow.

Connection (Integration Level)

Within the new host system dialog, choose SFTP and enter the server and credentials. You'll then be able to setup the file path and download parameters within each flow.
